Ok I will try to get this blog off the ground. Today is December 14th and I am in Santa Barbara California. I have not had much time to sit and rest at coffee houses to think and journal but today I woke and felt compelled to so here I am.
The East is Frozen and many Friends are with out power and warmth. I sit here in Southern California and still feel guilty for not being there. Separation from home is a strong root. I try to cut it but only get the small suckling roots I need a bigger axe.
It has been nice here, Spending time with old friends in there new lives and seeing how some things change but mostly it is like a favorite shirt, comfortable, soft, warm. If I have not said so before I love my relationships in this life Good and Bad, I have learned the most when I am there. I look forward to the new friends I will make with an open heart.
